TRBO (Tiger Robotics Booster Organization) is hosting an off season event in the summer of 2026. This event will be run as (2) one day competitions.
IMPORTANT: The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM, May 29th. If you need more time, please let us know.
Fun Costumes encouraged (no weapons or obscene materials)!
Teams can play one or both days.
Gameplay is based on 2026 FIRST Rebuilt Game following FIM District Championship Rules with the following changes:
FIRST team rosters are NOT required
Maximum 32 teams per day
Each team will play in at least 12 qualifying rounds
Playoffs will be single elimination (for sake of time)
8 Playoff Alliances will automatically be selected (for sake of time) based on rankings during qualification rounds
Alliance 1-9-24
Alliance 2-10-23
Alliance 3-11-22
Alliance 4-12-21
Alliance 5-13-20
Alliance 6-14-19
Alliance 7-15-18
Alliance 8-16-17
If a droid cannot or does not want to go to the playoffs then all teams move up a slot opened up by said team
Finals will still be best of three matches
6 "Dark Coaxium" will be included for extra points - same size/shape as regular Coaxium (fuel) and placed near the center of the field for start of match
Dark Coaxium will be worth 15 points if possessed inside your droid at conclusion of battle (not touching the floor) otherwise they will be worth standard 1 point during all other play
For the sake of time and pace of play the Coaxium "fuel" will be quickly returned to the neutral zone center in a taped off zone that approximates the metal frames.
